Water Soluble Silkscreen Inks

Suitable for both paper and textiles

Strongly pigmented

Very Dense Opaque White available for either overprinting colours or as a base on dark materials

Very good wet on wet printability

Very easily washed with water

Once dry the inks are waterproof and on textiles they can be washed when dry

All colours lightfast 6 or higher

They will cold cure on textiles
For a faster cure then they need an oven temperature of 150C-170C for 2 minutes.

The concentrated white would require 3-4 minutes at this temperature

Free from Lead and other heavy metals

Technical Information and Advice

Poor screen stability on fine detail
Add 2% Thickener
ensure squeegee is of medium hardness 65-70 shore with a sharp edge

Excessive curl
Avoid heavily coated papers
Use short grain papers
Avoid papers thinner than 135gm
Ensure filmweight is minimised by correct mesh and squeegee selection
Avoid excessive thinning

Inadequate water resistance
Ensure each colour is fully dried
Preferably with at least 30 minutes between colours.
This also helps to give less curl
